Preparing for Your Puppy’s Arrival
To help your puppy have a smooth transition, we ask that their new home is prepared before their arrival.
Crate Requirement
Your puppy will be accustomed to crate training during their stay with us. To help continue this routine at home, you will need to have a crate ready and waiting before your puppy arrives.
We recommend a 30-inch single-door collapsible wire dog crate with a divider.
The crate is not included with the puppy's take-home package. The new owner is responsible for purchasing and having the appropriate crate set up and ready before the puppy's arrival.
Having their crate prepared ahead of time allows you to continue the familiar routine your puppy has already learned rather than introducing a new setup on their first day home. Also placing the crate in a room where her or she can see you guys.

We recommend having the following ready:

Food and water bowls
Puppy food
Designated potty area
Puppy-safe toys
Puppy-safe sleeping area
A plan for continuing their potty and crate routine
The more prepared you are before your puppy comes home, the easier it will be for everyone to settle into a new routine.
