Congratulations! Your puppy is almost home! ❤️

We want to help make your puppy's transition as easy and comfortable as possible. A little preparation before arrival will help your new puppy settle in, continue their training, and feel right at home.

Use this checklist to make sure you have everything ready!

BEFORE YOUR PUPPY ARRIVES

Crate & Sleeping Area

☐ 30-inch single-door wire crate with divider
☐ Crate assembled and ready before puppy arrives
☐ Comfortable, puppy-safe bedding
☐ Designated sleeping area
☐ Quiet, comfortable place for your puppy to rest

⚠️ Important Crate Reminder

The divider may still be installed when you puppy comes home.

The crate is not included with your puppy's take-home package. Your family is responsible for purchasing and having the appropriate crate ready and waiting before your puppy arrives.

We recommend a 30-inch single-door collapsible wire crate with a divider.

FOOD & WATER

Your puppy will go home with food to help you continue their familiar diet while they adjust to their new surroundings.

☐ Cleaning supplies for accidents

Remember, your puppy is still learning! Accidents can happen as they adjust to their new home. Patience and consistency are key.

TOYS & COMFORT

Your puppy will be going home with some of their favorite familiar items from their time with us.

Your Puppy’s Take-Home Essentials Include:

Familiar smells and belongings can provide comfort during those first few days away from their littermates and our home.

PUPPY-PROOF YOUR HOME

Before your puppy arrives, take a few minutes to look around your home from a puppy's point of view!

☐ Put small objects out of reach
☐ Secure medications and household chemicals
☐ Secure trash cans
☐ Remove or secure unsafe plants
☐ Put shoes and tempting items away
☐ Block off areas that are not puppy-safe
☐ Check fences and gates
☐ Create a safe puppy area

KEEP THE TRAINING GOING

Your puppy will come home with a strong foundation, but their training doesn't end when they leave us.

Help your puppy succeed by continuing:
